Robert F. Weeks called me (Bob Meli) on November 20, 2012, after talking to Judy Siver about the veterans Wall Unit, and shared this information about himself and his service:

Robert F. Weeks graduated from Hackensack High School in June of 1962 and then attended William and Mary College.
Robert F. Weeks received his draft papers in October of 1966, and was accepted into O.C.S. (Officers Candidate School) in New Port, Rhode Island February 1967, where he graduated as an Ensign in June 1967. After graduation from O.C.S.,
Robert F. Weeks trained in San Diego, California.
The next stop was a tour of duty for over a year on board the U.S.S. Brule AKL a light cargo ship home based out of Saigon Vietnam. The ship Robert F. Weeks was on board delivered munitions, food, and other supplies which may have been needed for the troops in the Mekong Delta.

Today, Robert Floyd Weeks lives with his wife in Chicago and works for a food industry magazine publisher. They have two children and three grandchildren.
